Spectaguard is now AlliedBarton.

In 1980, Spectaguard was founded in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

In 1999, Spectaguard acquired New York-based Effective Security.

In 2000, Spectaguard acquired Allied and combined to form Allied Security - the third largest security company in the United States.
