Dare to be Safe Program Underscores AlliedBarton’s Commitment to Safety
KING OF PRUSSIA – June 29, 2007 – AlliedBarton Security Services’ Dare to be Safe program reinforces the importance of a safety conscious work environment with zero tolerance for avoidable injuries. The safety program is the culmination of the company’s corporate safety committee’s ongoing review of safety performance and culture. Employee awareness and commitment to safety is the key to achieving a safe work environment. The program continues to ensure all employees understand safety obligations and do what is necessary to fulfill responsibilities.
“AlliedBarton’s long-standing dedication to safety has resulted in this company-wide initiative designed to remind everyone of the importance of maintaining a safety conscious environment at AlliedBarton offices, our client’s sites and our homes,” explained Ron Rabena, Division President, AlliedBarton. “Our safety efforts translate into improved safety at our client’s sites as our employees are more aware and better informed. Our role as a security company goes far beyond providing security officers to our clients. We are committed to making security and safety a priority.”
To ensure the components of the program are carried through to all of the company’s more than 100 offices, a safety champion was named for each division and safety messages are communicated through posters, a calendar and monthly tips and through an employee safety tool kit.
