Just as bullying affects thousands of children every day in school, U.S. workers are similarly impacted by adult bullies that they encounter every day in their workplace. And while we are quick to identify a shooting as violence in the workplace, the thousands of employees that experience bullying and undergo emotional, psychological and sometimes physical abuse are, for the most part, overlooked as they are the “forgotten abused.”
